Rise Over Run - Reclaim and Conquer

Ironclad Recordings is Trevor from Unearth's baby - so right off the bat, you know this shit is going to destroy! He sent me this CD after I interviewed him (read the interview!), and let me be the first to tell you - if you are a hardcore fan, Rise Over Run will be your new favorite band. It's no surprise that the singer for Unearth is into these guys, because musically they are very similar. Technical but with an artillery of earth-shattering riffs as well. Rise Over Run's vocals are different though. They aren't as gruff and what I especially like is that they have plenty of gang-vocal parts. That is my favorite part of hardcore, the group vocals. This is an awesome CD, and if you are a fan of Unearth, this will rock your world.
