Fairweather - If They Move...Kill Them

"Wow." That’s what I have to say about this record. Fairweather has a melodic, somewhat pop-punk, sound that doesn’t sound like every other band. There is not a bad song on this record, its excellent from start to finish. This is so hard to do, but Fairweather make it look like child’s play. With an inventive punk guitar style supported by a strong bass sound, and hard hitting drums, the band belts out some great sing along tunes that’ll have you yelling at the top of your lungs, waking up the neighbors. From the first track, to the last track, it is as if you are listening to a story through music. This record lyrically and musically has a strong element of emotion from the epic-like feeling you’ll get from listening to tracks like “Soundtrack to the Ride,” and “Next Day Flight,” to the very mellow, acoustic ending in the song “Welcome to Last Year.” This record is genious, its innovative, check it out.
