Being that this is the first Piebald album I have heard, I can’t really compare it to their older material. However I must say, this is one hell of an album, and because the show I just saw them play was not sold out, Piebald is extremely underrated. Piebald play poppy punk rock with witty lyrics, and choruses that make you sing at the top of your lungs. Travis’ voice often reminds me of Denny from Sicko, and there is only one song on here that I don’t especially enjoy. One listen to this album, and you will be hooked for sure. Also, I really like how they subtly incorporate all kinds of unique instruments without taking anything away from their pop punk masterpiece.
